Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE AND WHERE YOU WILL BE WORKING:

The role of the Admissions Administrator is to act as the first point of contact for people entering one of our facilities, creating a welcoming and engaging environment.
The services provided must be of the highest quality whilst maintaining optimal efficiency. The Admissions Administrator should be comfortable providing customer service to all levels of stakeholders within aged care and have the capacity to provide administrative support to the Customer Service Team, other management, and staff.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for residential care admissions enquiries and providing duties including telephone answering, call transfers, and message taking and directing as appropriate
  • Ensuring that all information received in disseminated or acted upon in accordance with operational policy on the matter
  • Document and data control in accordance with organisational policy and ensuring all documentation relating to client admissions and discharges are completed in accordance with organisational requirements including maintaining waiting list information for all the facilities.
  • Liaising with the Facility managers regarding suitability of a potential resident and organizing tours for families of such potential residents once deemed suitable.
  • Collecting pre-admissions documents such as the application form including the financial declaration and copy of the Power of Attorney (POA) Enduring Power of Attorney (EPOA or Administration/Guardianship Order).
