OVERVIEW

The Admissions Advisor plays a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process, helping them understand the educational opportunities available and supporting them in making informed decisions about their academic futures. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a passion for education, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. The ideal candidate will be proactive in recruiting efforts and possess a solid understanding of the admissions landscape.
Our Vocational Training Programs are unique, and we stand out from other schools. We believe in traditional instructor-led training integrated with guided hands-on skills practice, and one-on-one support is always available. Technical skills are very important, and we also concentrate equally on communication and interpersonal skills.
To help maintain and grow these standards, we’re seeking an experienced Admissions Advisor to join our team. The Admissions Advisor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment. This role involves providing detailed information about the college’s programs, requirements, and services, conducting interviews, and assessing applications to ensure the best fit for both the student and the college. You will serve as a key point of contact, offering support and assistance to applicants and their families.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in college admissions, student recruitment, or a related area preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using admissions software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for recruitment events and activities.
  • Planning and participating in campus events such as, but not limited to, Open houses, Information Sessions, trade shows, fairs, booths etc.
