JOB PURPOSE
Join our growing Canadian team and help make a meaningful impact on students’ lives as valued team member on our Career Colleges and English Language direct-to-student teams! If you’re passionate about helping students succeed in achieving their academic and career goals, you’re a results-drive individual, and you have an understanding of the Canadian higher education recruitment landscape, we want to hear from you!
Reporting to the Associate Director of Recruitment and Admissions, Canada, the Admissions Advisor serves as a primary point of contact for individuals seeking to further their education, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from enquiry to enrollment for Halifax English Language and Career Colleges programs. The Admissions Advisor will complete direct-to-student (DTC) recruitment activities for our Halifax English School and Career College campus through strong domestic recruitment techniques and excellent customer service, in addition to expert knowledge on our programs, scholarships, financial aid options, and the admissions process. This involves nurturing student leads through phone calls, emails, text, and in-person campus tours, sourcing out and attending relevant events and school fairs, helping plan and attending Open Houses and Virtual Information Sessions, and driving recruitment activities for Halifax. The Admissions Advisor must be based in Halifax or the Greater Halifax Area, with the ability to commute to our Halifax campus 40 hours/week.
The Admissions Advisor must therefore have an ease with communications, love talking with students and helping them achieve their goals and believe in the power of transformative education. We are seeing a dynamic Admissions Advisor who embraces new opportunities with enthusiasm and is motivated by student success.
