The ideal candidate for this post is an individual with a strong background in the delivery of information, advice and guidance (IAG) in a busy working environment. The Admissions & Enrolment Officer has a key, customer-focused role in recruitment processes for all new students at the College. The provision of excellent IAG is crucial in helping our students to select the most appropriate subject courses and combinations in support of their future pathways into apprenticeships/employment or university.
This role will include support for prospective students, parents and other stakeholders when starting the application process with us. You will also be responsible for organising the admissions interviewing diary for teaching and support staff. We are driven to provide excellent customer service in a friendly and welcoming manner to all of our current and future students.
The successful candidate will need to be confident, friendly and supportive in dealing with our customers in person, on the telephone and in response to email enquiries. You will also have strong organisational abilities, excellent IT skills and the capacity to work effectively in both team and independent contexts. Liaison with other college teams to provide a coordinated service is also a key part of the role; this would include work with the Careers Team and Marketing Team at some events.
The Admissions & Enrolment Officer role will be constantly evolving and we therefore require an individual who is eager to learn, expand their experience and knowledge in this field and always provide the best of options for our students.
