If so, City Museum has immediate openings for Gift Shop and Admissions team members on our Retail team! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Greeting customers with a smile and assisting with their shopping experience * Sell daily admission, season passes, and all other products in an efficient and friendly manner * Sell various merchandise * Receive payment by credit cards, vouchers, gift cards or automatic debits * Offer additional products to offer the best park experience * Have excellent payment handling skills so that the transaction can be fast, friendly, and fun * Merchandise and maintain sales displays * Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees * Provide superior guest service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner * Assist customers with all questions regarding City Museum including facility layout and amenities * Follow all park policies and procedures * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Must be at least 16* years of age * Ability to operate a computer and computer software programs * Approachable, outgoing and excited about suggestive selling * Ability to accept guidance and supervision * Ability to communicate effectively with public, customers and staff members * Be aware, attentive, and work well with others * Energy and enthusiasm for long days * Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs Physical Requirements: * Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time * Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 25 pounds. * Ability to climb stairs *Applicants under 16 years of age must be able to provide appropriate Work Permit(s) to be considered for employment
