This individual will act as the face of the facility within the healthcare community, promoting services and ensuring the facility maintains a positive reputation and steady census growth.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Admissions/Marketing Director is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with referral sources, overseeing the admissions process, and implementing marketing strategies to ensure optimal census growth. This position plays a vital role in representing the skilled nursing facility within the healthcare community and ensuring smooth transitions for incoming residents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in marketing, healthcare administration, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare admissions, marketing, or sales; skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care insurance programs.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience using CRM and referral tracking systems.
  • Existing network of referral sources in the local healthcare market.
