In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our facility—creating a warm, supportive experience for Residents and their families from admission through discharge.   YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL… * Partner with the Admissions Department to coordinate new admissions and communicate equipment needs (beds, oxygen, etc.) to nursing staff * Prepare rooms for incoming Residents by ensuring: * Previous belongings are packed and removed * Deep cleaning is completed * Beds are made and call bells, lights, and TVs are functioning properly * Assemble and deliver welcome baskets for new Residents * Greet and escort Residents from the lobby to their rooms, creating a positive first impression * Build meaningful relationships with Residents and families by providing support and assistance * Respond to call bells within scope and notify nursing staff when additional care is needed * Address Resident concerns and complaints in accordance with the grievance process * Assist with room transitions, including short-term rehabilitation to long-term care * Provide tours during off-hours or when Admissions staff are unavailable * Complete room readiness forms daily and email to Room Readiness group. * Conduct Discharge Satisfaction Surveys on all discharging residents at least 24 hours prior to discharge. * Complete Welcome report on all new admissions. * Build admission agreements for all new residents and present those agreements to residents/responsible parties for signing within 72 hours of admission. * Insure resident receives an identification bracelet and remove any existing bracelet from hospital and be sure name is added to the resident room number sign * Responsible for coordinating and conducting any necessary room changes * Following up with residents/families when resident is hospitalized to determine if they would like to pay to hold the bed and complete forms as required * Prepare and distribute discharge gift bags * Assist in dining room during lunch meal service * Attend in-service training courses and required staff meetings * Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor * Requirements * Customer service experience required * Customer service experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Rehabilitation setting, or Assisted Living Facility (ALF) preferred * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment    WE VALUE OUR EMPLOYEES AND SHOW APPRECIATION THROUGH…    * Scholarships and Educational Assistance Programs, because we value the development of our team members and promoting from within.  * Extraordinary Reward Points, because we value recognizing and appreciating our employees for their hard work.  * Our comprehensive benefits, because we value health and wellness for you and your family. * Various Employee-led Committees because we value employee engagement and making your voice heard.  * A Free and Confidential Employee Assistance Program because we understand that life happens.  * Paid Training * Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long Term Disability, (401)K Retirement  * Freedom Village Bradenton has partnered with Daily Pay to give our team members control over accessing their paycheck on their own schedule.
