ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and compassionate Admissions Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will serve as the
first point of contact for new residents and their families, helping guide them through the admissions process with professionalism, empathy, and
attention to detail. You will work closely with the Director of Admissions to support census development while maintaining compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and update admission guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Promote facility programs through tours, brochures, advertisements, and direct communication
  • Guide prospective residents and families through the admissions process, collecting and verifying necessary documentation
  • Screen applicants based on clinical criteria and appropriateness for services
  • Coordinate all aspects of the admission process, including medical, emotional, and logistical needs (e.g., transportation)
  • Resolve patient and family concerns with professionalism and care
  • Generate regular reports by analyzing admissions trends and data
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations
  • Maintain updated knowledge of industry standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions and satisfaction
