Verify demographics, clinical details, and insurance Handle prior authorizations as needed Explain services and obtain consents when appropriate Ensure timely coordination with the clinical team Keep meticulous referral logs and records Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, families, and partners Join daily stand-ups and contribute to team planning Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality Requirements Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ year in healthcare intake, admissions, or medical office work (hospice/home health preferred) Skills & Requirements: Must type at least 34 WPM Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Clear and compassionate communicator Proficient with EMRs and Microsoft Office Insurance and Medicare/Medicaid knowledge a plus Adaptable in a fast-paced, team environment
