McLeod Centers for Wellbeing McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is seeking an experienced and compassionate Admissions Coordinator Lead to support the intake and admissions process across our treatment programs. This role plays a critical leadership function by managing patient flow, coordinating administrative requirements, and ensuring individuals seeking treatment receive timely access to care. The Admissions Coordinator Lead serves as a central point of coordination between patients, referral sources, clinical teams, and operational partners, helping reduce delays, resolve barriers, and enhance the overall admissions experience. This role also provides functional oversight to admissions and front office staff while supporting operational improvements within the patient access process.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Admissions Coordination & Patient Access * Manage the admissions queue to ensure timely movement of patients through intake and admissions workflows. * Track program start dates and communicate updates to patients, referral sources, and internal teams. * Coordinate required consents and administrative documentation for patient admissions. * Support clinicians and admissions staff with administrative tasks related to assessments and admissions. Operational Oversight & Workflow Management * Serve as an escalation point for admissions-related delays, barriers, or operational issues. * Monitor admissions volume and workflow trends to support operational planning and patient access goals. * Collaborate with Patient Access and finance teams to support funding verification and payer-related processes. * Identify workflow gaps and partner with leadership to implement process improvements. Team Leadership & Support * Provide daily functional oversight and work direction to Front Office Coordinators, Admissions Support Specialists, and Intake Clinicians/Counselors. * Support onboarding, cross-training, and workflow adherence for assigned staff. * Serve as a resource for front office and admissions teams during daily operations. * Provide coverage for intake clinicians or counselors when needed.   CORE COMPETENCIES Problem Solving Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently while gathering and analyzing information, even in emotionally sensitive situations. Planning & Organization Effectively prioritizes tasks and manages multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment.   QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience * Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Addiction Studies, or a related field * Leadership or management experience preferred Licensure * Active licensure preferred: LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or LCAS Computer Skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This role provides day-to-day functional oversight for Front Office Coordinators, Admissions Support Specialists, and Intake Clinicians/Counselors. Staff within the admissions and front office team may report directly to this position.   WORK ENVIRONMENT This position operates in a professional office setting with regular communication with colleagues, clients, and external partners. Responsibilities include desk work, telephone communication, walking, and computer use. Occasional travel to other work locations may be required, and the role may involve lifting up to 25 lbs.
