JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Directors of Admissions and the Admissions Supervisor, the Admissions Coordinator supports Admissions Advisors in driving enrollment and guiding students from inquiry to arrival. This proactive role involves handling admissions inquiries, supporting events and promotions, and assisting incoming students. You are a self-starter with sales and phone experience, highly organized, detail-oriented, energetic, and results-driven, with excellent communication skills and the ability to track and report outcomes.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION:

  • Degree/Diploma in Business Administration with a minimum of two years professional experience in a marketing or sales department.
  • Extensive experience making and receiving phone calls.
  • Solid understanding and experience in database usage, EXCEL, CRM.
  • Goal-oriented with a passion to succeed.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills with extremely good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated good judgment and initiative with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Highly organized team player with a flexible approach and works well under pressure.
  • Ability to present a professional and positive image and maintain discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Admissions Advisors to generate and convert qualified leads, ensuring enrollment targets are met or exceeded.
  • Respond to regional inquiries promptly (within 24–48 hours) and maintain accurate records in the CRM.
  • Support administrative tasks, including receptionist backup, data entry, document processing, and student file management.
  • Pre-qualify prospective students and schedule appointments, ensuring they are informed and prepared.
  • Follow up with leads consistently until resolved and assist with ESL testing coordination.
  • Represent VFS at recruitment events and provide campus tours.
  • Conduct applicant reference checks and manage post-acceptance processes, including contract generation and resolving student issues (e.g., finances, visas, housing).
  • Maintain strong relationships with students through ongoing support and proactive issue resolution.
  • Handle overdue charges and attempt to re-engage canceled applicants.
  • Participate in Orientation Day, targeted outreach campaigns, and weekly team meetings.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by Admissions leadership.
