About the role Coordinates recruitment and arrival of new Job Corps students within assigned geographical area. What you'll do Follow all integrity guidelines and procedures and ensure no manipulation of student data. Ensure Center/contract meets or exceeds DOL/Company performance goals. Employ various recruitment techniques including developing alumni networks, evaluating recruiting techniques and materials, interviewing prospective students, and initiating campaigns for students to attend the program. Inform applicants of center tour dates and assist students during center tour, as needed. Evaluate, interview, and assist students during the enrollment decision making process. Address student concerns and challenges throughout the enrollment process, engaging with parents/guardians to help students pursue best suited program. Demonstrate effective communication skills and maintain a helpful attitude. Provide up to date information during enrollment process regarding recruitment, Zero Tolerance Policy and behavior expectations, Center programs, trades, and trade requirements. Coordinate enrollment services, new student recruitment, community outreach, public information, and program specific promotional events for assigned area. Develop Center/contract beneficial linkages within the community for enrollment, education, employment, training, WBL and any/all other forms of enrollment and placement. Promote a positive image of the Center and Job Corps and establish meaningful relationships with elected officials and community leaders/influencers. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field; or Associate’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field. May consider experience in lieu of education contingent upon government approval. Two years related experience. Experience may include successful Job Corps outreach and admissions experience or successful outreach and admissions experience with other youth development programs.
