Title: Admissions Director  Reports to: Principal Location: Rhodora J. Donahue Academy |Ave Maria, FL Classification: Salaried/Exempt    Overview Donahue Academy is the parochial elementary, middle, and high school of Ave Maria Catholic Church, which serves more than 1,400 households through liturgy, evangelization, formation, education, and ministry activities. Donahue Academy provides a faithful Catholic, classical education, including a robust athletics program, to children from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 in a tight-knit community environment. The Director of Admissions is responsible for assisting in developing, implementing, and evaluating the school’s student recruitment and enrollment strategy in collaboration with the School’s Administration Team. This responsibility includes forging relationships with future students and families, and familiarity with local feeder schools and trends in student enrollment.   Job Responsibilities * Manage the overall operations of the Admissions Office, including responding to admission inquiries and other duties, to ensure the overall operational success of the admissions office. * Prepare for visits and tours held at schools, including the preparation and delivery of collateral materials, as well as communication and confirmation with families. * Support positive rapport with Catholic school partners. * Remain current on school policies, programming, achievements, and opportunities to facilitate productive conversations with prospective students and families. * Maintain an understanding of the Diocese of Venice’s recruiting/admissions policies. * Maintain the department’s prospective student database by managing data entry of student information collected. * Facilitate campus tours for prospective students and families. * Assist in the annual review and evaluation of incoming students and transfer applications. * Assist in updating, designing, and developing recruitment and admission materials, including both print and web-based materials. * Assist in the administration of scholarship data for students. * Other duties assigned by the Principal. Qualifications * Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required. * Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills; ability to multitask. * Ability to communicate cooperatively and effectively with staff, students, and parents. * Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must. * Proficient with technology, including Word, Excel, and Office. * Thorough knowledge of the culture of the school. * Practicing Catholic is a must. * Ability to articulate Donahue Academy’s Catholic, classical mission to prospective and current families.
