OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Admissions Intake Coordinator to join our Centralized Intake Team. This key position is responsible for managing the intake process and supporting admissions to our skilled nursing facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with skilled nursing admissions or healthcare intake processes
  • Strong knowledge of insurance verification and authorization procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate new patient admissions to our nursing facilities once a bed is accepted
  • Verify insurance coverage for skilled nursing facility (SNF) stays
  • Obtain prior authorizations for new and returning patients
  • Send admission demographics and clinical screening information to facilities
  • Track and report admissions activity throughout the day
  • Collaborate with facility staff to ensure a smooth and efficient admission process
