Avalon Care Center at Northpointe in Spokane is seeking an Admissions Nurse to join our team! $48.00 - $54.69 /hr Sunday - Tuesday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm We are looking for individuals who embrace a reverence for life and a heart for healing. Maximum pay- $54.69. **Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.** Responsibilities Admissions Process * Complete admission assessments for incoming residents, including physical and clinical evaluations. * Coordinate admissions to ensure a smooth transition into the facility. * Review hospital records, physician orders, medications, and treatment plans prior to admission. * Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care. * Ensure accurate and timely completion of admission documentation, authorizations, and medical records. * Educate residents and families regarding admission procedures, care plans, and facility policies. * Assess residents for appropriate level of care and identify immediate clinical or safety concerns. * Coordinate room assignments, equipment, and resident care needs upon admission. * Maintain compliance with state, federal, facility, and HIPAA regulations. * Assist with resident transfers and discharge coordination as needed. Qualifications * Preferably 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience with at least two years in long term care and two years of successful experience in administration, consultation or involvement in the survey process Licenses/Certification * Must have an RN license in good standing Avalon Health Care Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
