ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administration Officer to join our busy Surgical Bookings Department as an Admissions Officer. This is a multi-faceted position that offers a mix of responsibilities, including providing customer service at the front concierge, supporting direct admissions for the hospital and theatre wards, and assisting with surgical bookings by processing Recommendations for Admission (RFAs).
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, particularly in data entry, as this is a large component of the role. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and staff are essential. Flexibility is important, as the successful applicant must be able to work a variety of shifts with start times ranging between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm. The position also includes rotational weekend shifts, typically four hours in duration.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive and collaborative team that plays a key role in the patient journey through surgical services. If you are organised, adaptable, and ready to contribute to a high-performing team, we encourage you to apply.
