ABOUT REGENT UNIVERSITY:

Regent University is an internationally recognized institution with thriving campuses in the United Kingdom, Dubai, India, and San Marino (Regent European University). As part of our global expansion, we are launching a new U.S. campus in Jacksonville, Florida and planning an additional campus in Malta. We are seeking a skilled and student-focused Admission Officer to help establish and execute our admissions processes during this exciting phase of growth.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Admission Officer will oversee and coordinate the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment, ensuring prospective students receive timely communication and a seamless experience. This role will be essential in implementing recruitment strategies, managing application reviews, and supporting the institution’s enrollment goals.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in university admissions, a strong understanding of both domestic and international credential evaluation, and the ability to thrive in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with a global team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in college or university admissions, requirements and credential evaluation.
  • Thorough knowledge of tertiary level foreign credentials, secondary school records, study abroad programs and policies, and the knowledge of major educational systems of the world.
  • Experience in the evaluation of domestic and international credentials for the purpose of admission to the university programs
  • Advanced knowledge and experience working with a diverse student population.
  • Advanced skills to develop strategic recruitment plans, designing outreach and recruitment programs and materials that will attract and enroll top candidates, including students from under-represented groups.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management including program design, implementation, and evaluation. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with proven ability to anticipate and research complex issues, recognize potential impacts, identify, develop, evaluate, and implement creative and alternative solutions, and make recommendations.
  • FAPSC Certification (Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges) required.Applicants who do not currently hold this certification may obtain it upon hire. The cost will be reimbursed by Regent University upon successful completion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy and flexibility, with ability to maintain composure and effectively interact with faculty, students, staff and the general public.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and public speaking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily admissions workflow, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of applications.
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospective students to guide them through each step of the admissions process.
  • Evaluate domestic and international academic credentials to determine eligibility.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align outreach efforts with enrollment objectives.
  • Participate in recruitment activities, including virtual events, school visits, and education fairs.
  • Track, analyze, and report enrollment data to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Assist in developing and refining admissions policies and procedures to meet compliance requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with recruitment partners and feeder institutions.
  • Support scholarship program initiatives and applicant tracking.
  • Manage vendor relationships related to student recruitment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer or designated supervisor.
