The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Admission Officer to join a British curriculum school in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the admissions process for prospective students, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for applicants and their families. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments within the school. As an Admission Officer, you will be responsible for promoting our educational offerings and guiding potential students through the admissions journey, from inquiry to enrollment. This role involves sales and closing incoming enquiries Responsibilities: - Manage the entire admissions process for prospective students, including inquiries, applications, interviews, and enrollment. - Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students and their families, addressing questions and concerns promptly and professionally. - Conduct school tours and information sessions for prospective students and families, showcasing the school’s facilities, programs, and culture. - Collaborate with the academic staff to ensure accurate representation of the school’s programs and offerings. - Review and evaluate student applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and meets the school’s admission requirements. - Maintain accurate records of all admissions activities, including inquiries, applications, and enrollment statistics, using the school’s database systems. - Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of applicants. - Participate in school events, fairs, and community outreach activities to promote the school and engage with potential applicants. - Stay informed about trends in the education sector and admissions practices to continually improve the admissions process. - Prepare periodic reports on admissions statistics and trends for management review.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proven experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related customer service role, preferably within an educational setting. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management systems. - Knowledge of current trends and best practices in school admissions and recruitment. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus. - A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students in their academic journey.
