Your role at St John of God Subiaco Hospital You will be responsible for providing a highly professional standard of customer service to all hospital clientele and caregivers in the provision of admitting patients according to Admission Department work instructions. The role is offered on a Permanent full-time basis, working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The Position: Facilitate all aspects of the patients’ pre-admission and admission including the following: Collation of all appropriate paperwork; Enter all relevant patient and booking data on the computer in an accurate and concise manner. Update the theatre booking information as subsequent communication is received from doctors' rooms to hospital; Seek information for the completion of the Patient Fee Estimate. Communicate any area of impact to the relevant operational area within the hospital. Liaise with theatre regarding theatre lists. Ensure appropriate documentation is allocated to the relevant operational area in a timely manner. Ensure the processing and signing off of patient documentation. Enter all relevant admission data on the computer in an efficient, accurate and concise manner. Facilitate all aspects of booking cancellations. Meet department phone and booking KPI’s as required. You will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask. To succeed you will possess accurate and efficient keyboard, computer and data entry skills and have a commitment to customer service with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
