What you will be doing: The Admissions Representative is an integral role that directly impacts Interstate Truck Driving School’s mission through student satisfaction and care. The Admissions Representative recruits and enrolls students that have expressed interest in becoming a truck driver. The Admissions Representative is responsible for accurately portraying ITDS’s programs, enrollment process, qualifications and financial consideration to each lead. The Admissions Representative will make outgoing phone calls, answer incoming phone calls, send and receive emails and conduct interviews as they guide prospective students through all stages of the enrollment process. Successful Admissions Representatives have the ability to quickly establish rapport and build relationships by helping guide our prospective students through the enrollment process. Requirements What we are looking for: One year or more experience in admissions/enrollment at a higher education institution or vocational institution Experience in the Transportation industry preferred Proficient with most Microsoft and Google programs and applications Effective communication skills - both written and verbal Effective presentation skills Positive interpersonal and relationship building skills for both internal and external relationships Ability to function well independently and as a member of a team Excellent people skills and the ability to multi-task Results-oriented, organized self- starter with the ability to influence others Availability to work some Saturdays and evenings, as needed for coverage Interstate Truck Driving School is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
