Description Report to First Impressions Manager Department Admissions – Institutional Relations FLSA Status Hourly, Non-Exempt JOB PURPOSE To assist the Office of Admissions in recruiting students to Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Spurgeon College. Representatives are the front line of interaction with future students in the admissions process. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Communicate with prospective students during the recruitment process Assist with Office of Admissions’ administrative tasks including but not limited to answering telephones, printing, and sorting of recruitment materials, preparing and processing mass mailings during the recruitment period Conduct campus tours for prospective students and their families Provide communication and customer service to prospective students via phone, text, email, social media, and printed material Maintain inventory of recruitment materials Assist with preparation for Admissions’ Events Answer basic questions regarding the admissions process, financial aid, and campus life. Campus tours can require up to three (3) hours’ time Able to push, pull, lift and/or move up to forty (40) pounds.
