What you'll bring to the team Fancy being part of the iconic heart of London? Of course, you do! At 135 metres high the world-famous lastminute.com London Eye is the only moving view of the city. From movie royalty to actual royalty, the London Eye has welcomed them all and we’ve got our Eye out for Admissions and River Hosts to join our dedicated team in delivering an unmissable view that celebrates today’s London, giving guests memories that will last a lifetime. First and foremost, this is a guest facing role to support and engage with customers, offering an exceptional experience to each visitor via excellent customer service. Working in our Admissions team you could find yourself working on the tills, helping guests on kiosks, working in our pier ticket office or even assisting other departments on peak days. You will find yourself helping customers as they make their way throughout the attraction! You will have strong communication skills coupled with the ability to interact with our guests, plenty of enthusiasm, full of smiles and be a reliable team player. We have fixed term contracts on offer with full-time hours, working 5 days out of 7 a week on a rota basis until June 2025. All that we ask is that you’re flexible as the lastminute.com London Eye is open daily, so shifts will include weekends, evenings, and bank holidays. Qualifications & Experience You’ll be a confident personality with the willingness to approach guests with warmth and deliver world class memorable experiences every day. The London Eye gets extremely busy and so we’d like you to already have experience of working in a pressurised environment within the hospitality industry or similar. We’re a close-knit team here at the London Eye and so we are looking for people with a willingness to work together but also independently when required. Up selling experience would be handy for this role, but don’t worry, full training will be provided.
