We are seeking experienced former admissions officers from top U.S. private schools or universities to join our team as strategic planning mentors. In this role, you will work closely with middle and high school students (Grades 7–12) on academic and extracurricular planning, providing one-on-one guidance. You will help shape students’ long-term development and support them in crafting a compelling application profile for top-tier high schools and universities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Former admissions officer from a top U.S. private high school or university (required).
  • Deep understanding of selective admissions processes at both high school and college levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students and families.
  • Experience working with international students (especially from East Asia) is a plus.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills; background in essay review preferred.
  • Highly organized, responsible, and collaborative.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a long-term mentor to students in Grades 7–12, with monthly one-on-one sessions.

  • Guide students in understanding U.S. private school and university expectations at various grade levels.

  • School list development and final selection
  • Personal statement and supplemental essay brainstorming, reviewing, and editing
  • Interview preparation and mock interviews
  • Strategic positioning and storytelling
  • Maintain consistent communication and collaborate with internal consultants to ensure student progress.
