The Position: The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing on-going education, training, and hiring for staff in accordance with company policy and procedure as well as federal and local regulatory compliance. Serves as the primary contact in the facility for staff education. Also assists the Director of Nursing in managing overall operation of the Nursing Services Department in accordance with Company policies, standards of nursing practices and government regulations so as to maintain excellent care of all the Residents’ and employee’s needs. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or university program certificate required. 2-4 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience as a charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred. Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the State. CPR – BLS. Valid driver’s license.
