Responsibilities: under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Assistant Director of Nursing assists in the management of the nursing department in accordance with company policy, quality of standards of nursing care and government regulations, ensuring efficiency and excellence in the delivery of optimal resident care. Requirements Requirements: Current RN in good standing and currently licensed by the State of Texas RN with Nursing Home experience Available to work flexible hours to include some weekends Carry out, coordinate, manage administrative functions and areas of programs related to nursing services which may include departmental documentation, medical records, nursing supplies, ancillary supplies and or services, quality assurance, care plans, MDS, infection control, restorative care, skin care program, Medicare, medication programs, alternative duty, safety program, staff scheduling, employee selection, training and orientation. Responsibilities

The Assistant Director of Nursing assists in the management of the nursing department under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. This includes ensuring efficiency and excellence in the delivery of optimal resident care in accordance with company policy and government regulations.
