Job Title: ADP Payroll SpecialistJob Description Join a prestigious large privately owned company in Pioneer Square, downtown Seattle, as an ADP Payroll Specialist. This position offers an exciting 6-month temp-to-hire opportunity, where you will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes with precision and confidentiality. Responsibilities Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the payroll process. Maintain confidentiality while handling salaried payrolls. Research and resolve pay inquiries, including the issuance of manual checks. Support HR in implementing changes required by new collective bargaining agreements, laws, and policies. Develop ad hoc reports as requested. Prepare assigned journal entries for month-end timelines. Reconcile payroll and payroll-related accounts as assigned. Respond to questions during the monthly preparation of financial results. Provide support to both the Payroll Team and the manager through task delegation. Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. Essential Skills 5 to 7 years of payroll experience. Associate's degree or equivalent training and education beyond high school. Previous experience with Collective Bargaining Agreement (union) payroll preferred. Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and payroll operating methods. Expertise with systems such as ADP HRIS, ADP Reporting, E-Time, and SAP. High level proficiency with Microsoft suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Additional Skills & Qualifications Attention to detail and ability to understand instructions, information, and concepts. Regular interaction in person or by telephone with employees and outside agencies. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Seattle, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $79040.00/yr. The benefit program includes medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family. This position will accrue 10 days of vacation a year. Accrued vacation will be vested and available for use after successfully completing six (6) months of service. Life insurance equal to two times annual base salary. Accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Long term disability insurance. 401k program with a 4% match, vested immediately. Employee Assistance Program. Flexible Spending Accounts.
