Description

Key Responsibilities: * Interface with internal and external customers and stakeholders to plan and develop new products based on customer/market requirements and company objectives * Formulate compounds to meet customers’ requirements with respect to mechanical properties, electrical properties, flame resistance, weather resistance, aesthetic appearance, etc. * Conduct necessary material testing and evaluation to support product development * Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve technical problems, and provide technical guidance and support throughout the product lifecycle * Explore new technologies and raw materials that can enhance product offerings to fulfill customer needs * Create and maintain documentation including testing reports, and work instruction procedures for laboratory equipment * Collaborate with QC and Production teams to support manufacturing trials, product scaling, and quality control processes

Responsibilities

The engineer will interface with customers to plan and develop new thermoplastic compounds based on market requirements, formulating compounds to meet specific property needs like mechanical and electrical characteristics. Responsibilities also include conducting material testing, resolving technical issues, exploring new technologies, and collaborating with QC and Production teams.
