Job Title: Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapist Banding: Band 6 Location: Warrington Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Hourly Rate: £24.00 – £27.00 per hour Working Hours: Full-time or Part-time Job Overview Pulse is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join the adult acute team at Warrington Hospital. This is a flexible opportunity offering both full-time and part-time hours, ideal for a clinician with a strong background in acute adult care. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to adult patients in an acute hospital setting, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Provide specialist speech and language therapy to adult patients in an acute hospital setting. Assess, diagnose, and manage communication and swallowing disorders. Work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals. Contribute to discharge planning and patient care pathways. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with Trust policies. Participate in service development and clinical audits. Qualifications and Experience To be considered for this role, you must: Be HCPC registered as a Speech and Language Therapist. Have experience working in an acute adult hospital setting. Be confident in managing complex communication and swallowing needs. Demonstrate excellent clinical reasoning and interpersonal skills.
