Description

Overview This is a PRN Position. Functions as a member of the Adult Echocardiography Laboratory and performs high quality echocardiograms in the Adult Echo Lab and on the in-patient service as requested. Ensures that all studies are entered into the database appropriately. Takes call as requested. Responsible for care of all equipment related to adult echo services, including TEE equipment. Qualifications This is a PRN position. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Completion of an accredited echocardiography, ultrasound or cardiopulmonary technology program (AS equivalent) Obtain registration within one year of hire. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. (ARDMS) Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality echocardiograms in the Adult Echo Lab and for in-patient services. Manage the care of adult echo and TEE equipment and ensure all studies are correctly entered into the database.
