The Adult Crisis Response & Stabilization Unit Supervisor reports to the Director and will provide general clinical and administrative oversight of the Mobile Crisis Team and ensure the continuity of care for clients in crisis. Coordinates program requirements with other operational areas and has overall responsibility for the supervision, development and motivation of staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: Ensures supervision of the day-to-day operations of the Adult Crisis Response & Stabilization Unit. Coordinates with OMH to ensure timely assessment and quick response to crisis referrals. Provides leadership and direct supervision of Adult Crisis Response & Stabilization Unit Team. Reviews all step-down paperwork from hospitals and acts as the point-person for diversion referrals for hospitals, community providers and police. Maintains oversight of the scheduling and staffing coverage. Maintains regular communication about clinical and administrative operations with the Director, Division Director, Medical Director and the Executive Director. Ensures continuous development, monitoring and program improvement of operational procedures as needed to meet the needs of the community. Conducts clinical and team meetings. Participates in all clinical and management meetings. Participates in the organizations professional development program including: regular supervision, training seminars, and community sponsored educational events. Works with the local and regional behavioral health authorities regarding service delivery and policy/procedural issues. Other duties as required by the management team. Education and/or Experience This position requires a Master's degree in psychology, social work or related field from an accredited college or university. • Candidates must have appropriate State License LCSW-C or LCPC. • Five years post licensure experience preferred. • Extensive experience working with behavioral health clients in acute crisis. Supervisory and community mental health experience desired Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CPR certification
