JOB OVERVIEW

STEMRAN limited is seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping Adult Learners achieve their academic goals and will possess the ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences. This role involves working closely with Adults Learners of varying ages and abilities but mostly from age 16+ including those requiring special education support.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a formal educational setting
  • Experience working with Adult social care, demonstrating patience and adaptability
  • Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to Learners
  • A passion for education and a commitment to fostering student growth and development
  • Relevant qualifications in education or a related field with a minimum of level 3 awards in Education and Training would be advantageous

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs
  • Develop customised lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and with the right accreditation
  • Assist students in understanding complex concepts and improve their academic performance
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student confidence
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators regarding progress and areas for improvement
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student achievements
