Description Job Title: Adult League Basketball Referee Status: Part-time Hours: Wednesdays 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm /April 22nd to June 3rd Y Job Grade 5 Wage: $22 per hour ($25 per hour for MOA certified.) Reports to: Director of Youth Sports Probation: subject to Montana 12-month introductory (probationary) period POSITION SUMMARY: The Adult Basketball League Referee is responsible for officiating 5v5 games for adults. Referees should have an in-depth knowledge of basketball rules and game management skills. Referees are responsible for maintaining an unbiased, consistent, and safe playing environment. Referees need to be comfortable with addressing undesired behavior from players to uphold a safe and positive setting. Must be able to thrive in an environment with the unique challenges of a non-profit community service organization. Works with general supervision. The Missoula Y is an equal opportunity employer.
