Do you have the experience of working with partners to support work and learning opportunities for adults? Are you keen to help residents in our county thrive? If you do, then you may be the perfect fit for our Adult Learning Project Officer in the Employability and Skills team at East Sussex County Council.

As Adult Learning Project Officer, you will:

  • Support the coordination and development of Adult Learning projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and funding requirements.
  • Maintain project management systems, templates, and documentation, acting as the central source of project information.
  • Identify and report project risks, developing mitigation strategies with stakeholders.
  • Act as the main point of contact for project enquiries, ensuring timely and professional communication across all channels.
  • Contribute to communication strategies and manage stakeholder relationships to support successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project budgets, expenditure, and income within set parameters.
  • Research, analyse, and produce reports and insights to support evidence-based decision-making.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Can plan and organise varied workloads
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences
  • Can influence and support change using negotiation skills
  • Interpret and analyse complex data
  • Can monitor budgets effectively
  • Have working knowledge of adult learning programmes
