JOB SUMMARY

In this role you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a care home setting and working within mental health would be beneficial. You will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for those you assist, working closely with care plans and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

SKILLS

• Proven experience in care or within a nursing home environment in the UK is essential.
• Strong understanding of patient care principles, including medication administration and case management.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in maintaining client records.
• Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of clients and changing work environments.

• Support clients with daily living activities, cleaning rooms, laundry, preparing meals, attending appointments.
• Provide medication administration as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.

• Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel.
