Position Overview BayCare Medical Group is seeking an experienced Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our BayCare Behavioral Health team in Tampa. Position will be full-time, 4 or 5 days a week. There is no call requirements for this position. We are the largest full-service, community-based health care system in the Tampa Bay area and offer a variety of services in Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk counties. Qualifications The Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric services to individuals with mental health diagnoses, including persons who have co-occurring disorders (MH SA). Conducts psychiatric evaluations and follow-up management in a variety of treatment settings to the targeted populations. Works under supervision of a psychiatric protocol. Provides clinical consultation to medical services staff and other treatment team members. Travel to other assigned locations is required. Acts as Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts, as designated. Position Requires: Board certified as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and have at least 2 years’ experience in role of PMHNP post-Master's.
