OVERVIEW

We are looking to add a certified and experienced locum social worker to our team of adult social workers. A solid working understanding of the Mental Capacity Act of 2005, the Care Act of 2014, and safeguarding procedures will be displayed by the chosen candidate. A dedication to person-centered, strengths-based approaches is necessary for this profession to support people in preserving their freedom and attaining the greatest results.

REQUIREMENTS

• A licensed social worker who is currently registered with Social Work England (SWE).
• Knowledge and Proficiency: Comprehensive comprehension of the Mental Capacity Act of 2005 and the Care Act of 2014.
• Show ability to finish safeguarding investigations.
• Knowledge of person-centered and strengths-based methods.
• Proficiency in both writing and oral communication.
• The capacity to complete assessments and reviews on time while working autonomously.
• Technology: It helps to have prior experience with the Mosaic client database; training is offered.
• Travel: The capacity and willingness to move about the county as necessary.
• This position provides a chance to support people through individualized, efficient social care techniques and has a significant influence.

• Assessment and Safeguarding: Comply with corporate and legal rules by conducting person-centered evaluations, reviews, and safeguarding investigations.

• Case Management: Manage a caseload on your own, making sure that prompt and efficient responses are given to satisfy evaluation and review standards.
• Duty Rota: Take part in the duty rota, delegating tasks to coworkers as necessary.
• Hybrid Working: Work in a hybrid setting, visiting the Hereford office and traveling throughout the county in person when necessary.
• Communication and Reporting: Use the Mosaic client database to keep correct records and documentation (training is available if necessary).
