Compensation $25.00-28.00/hour Part-time, hourly Summary The swim coach of the Laguna Niguel Adult Swim Program will be responsible for coaching and development of the adult swimming program. The ideal candidate will bring experience in coaching adult swimmers and fostering a welcoming culture. This role requires a dynamic leader with excellent communication skills, the ability to inspire athletes, and a commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive team environment. Work Environment Weekday mid-day and Saturday morning practices Outdoor facility; can be cold in winter and hot in summer Job Responsibilities Plan and lead structured daily swim practices appropriate for all ability levels. Provide technical instruction, stroke refinement, and race strategy guidance. Deliver individualized feedback to support swimmer improvement and confidence. Ensure adherence to all facility and safety rules for both coach and participants. Collaborate with facility leadership on pool scheduling, events, and operational needs. Recruit, engage, and retain adult swimmers to support program growth. Foster a positive, inclusive, and community-focused environment. Provide exceptional customer service to both current and prospective members. Requirements Ability to obtain and maintain a StarGuard Elite Lifeguarding certification. Experience coaching adult and/or adult swimmers. Ability to lead a program and manage diverse athletes and skill levels. Strong interpersonal, motivational, and organizational skills. Preferred Competitive swimming background (athlete and/or coach). Previous experience growing or managing a swim or adult fitness program. Physical Requirements Ability to stand on deck for extended periods (up to 3–4 hours) Ability to demonstrate swimming skills in the water when needed Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations, including entering the water Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and sun exposure WHAT SETS PREMIER AQUATICS APART?
