ADULT SOCIAL CARE ACADEMY OFFICER

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who is seeking a new challenge, to support our newly created Adult Social Care Academy.
We are committed to investing in the recruitment, retention, and the development of our workforce and the infrastructure of an Adult Social Care Academy will lead, direct, and provide resources for early career frameworks and ensure continuous professional development is embedded.
As an Academy Officer, you will provide effective, efficient and customer focussed support ensuring compliance with procedures and practices to support the delivery of the academy priorities. You will also work in partnership with corporate colleagues to develop and maintain the Adult Social Care Academy digital and social media presence.
The role will include minute taking for often sensitive meetings, data entry and maintenance of trackers/spreadsheets, administering basic financial transactions and coordinating various meetings.
It is essential that you have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, possess excellent organisational and prioritising skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office systems. Experience in minute taking and an ability to remain confidential when dealing with highly sensitive information are also requirements of the role and you must hold an NVQ Business Administration/IT Level 3 (or equivalent) and be qualified to Level 2 English and Maths.
