    Locum Social Worker in a supportive adult’s locality social care team Herefordshire Community Wellbeing Directorate is a welcoming and supportive place to work. We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, professionally confident Social Worker to complement our permanent workforce.
    We are looking for a Social Worker who enjoys fast paced work with experience of working with adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health needs and older people. Herefordshire Adult Social Care is looking for a qualified locum social worker with experience in adults’ community social work. This role has the benefit of having a wide variety of adult social work, including Care Act Assessments and support planning, using a strength based approach, CHC and s117 work, section 42 Enquiries, Mental Capacity Assessments and Community DoLS.
    We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and organisational skills. You will have good communication and IT skills and an ability to work within set timescales. Herefordshire Adult Social Care uses Mosaic IT system so experience with this database would be an advantage, but training will be provided as required.
    We are currently working a hybrid system of part office/part home based working. There is a requirement to be able to work face to face for two days per week in the office in Hereford and be able to travel throughout the county as required.
