Responsibilities

  • Conduct research necessary to be an advocate for new technologies/products that will enable the business.
  • Be a key influencer in technical decisions regarding new technology and act as a technical advisor to Engineering leaders.
  • Collaborate in establishment of the technical base line and technical engineering vision and help lead the transformation of the organization into modern approaches to development, integration, and test.
  • Interface with customers/suppliers to resolve complex technical issues to provide the business with innovative, industry leading solution.
  • Provide technical mentorship to all levels of the engineering organization.
  • Supplies technical inspiration and leadership consultation to other engineers.
  • Create and maintain project documentation for analysis, research, and historical records.
  • Perform complex engineering analysis to support the selection of parts, components, and materials that meet requirements.
  • Provide technical support for prototype, pilot, and production support
