Responsibilities

The post holder will be an autonomous expert clinician working in a clinical specialist, whilst managing a clinical caseload of highly complex patients through expert physiotherapy assessment, treatment planning and discharge.
The post holder will be responsible for introducing new approaches to physiotherapy access and process increasing the focus on health promotion and self management.
The post holder will provide expert support and education for physiotherapists, health professionals, relatives and carers within and out with the service.
The post holder will liaise with and refer to other social and health services to provide comprehensive patient management and optimise outcomes.
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining and improving all aspects of clinical governance, evidence based practice and quality assurance in service area in conjunction with the care group lead.
The post holder will implement research, audit and to develop a service that responds to national initiatives policies and clinical governance.
