We have an opportunity for Advanced Aircraft Systems Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Brno. Use and develop your expertise and guidance through definition, design, development, integration, test, and certification phases of avionics programs. Coordinate technical activity between Aircraft and Functional Systems Teams, program management and the OEM customers.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Key responsibilities
- System Definition, Design, and Development: Support systems engineers with technical content and aircraft specific development, ensure design variability and proper configuration while partnering with the customer, ensure aircraft specific requirements documentation is developed in accordance with internal process and OEM requirements.
- Change Management: Promote internal activity, report issues and subsequent software corrections in coordination with the project engineer.
- Coordinate with the cross functional teams to ensure work meets scope, schedule, and quality,
- Provide SITS bench testing guidance and bench upgrades and maintenance, proper SITS usage and availability for multiple programs and tasks.
- Develop and mentor junior team members.
Key skills and qualifications
- University education in engineering field, strong background in Aerospace, Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ year experience in system engineering domain, experience with avionics integrated systems and industry standards (DO178, ARP 4754, etc.)
- Interest in continuous development of your career and expertise and Aerospace industry
- Experience with product or aviation system certification requirements
- Advanced command of English language
