POSITION SUMMARY:

The Advanced Care Program Manager oversees and mentors Case Managers, program coordinators, travel coordinators, and Team Leads, ensuring ethical conduct in case management, while managing day-to-day operations and enforcing policies that align with organizational goals.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be certified and maintain certification as a Medical travel professional.
  • Understanding of employee benefit plans preferred.
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Directly supervise Case managers, Program Coordinators, travel coordinators, and Team Leads, providing performance feedback and addressing corrective action plans.
  • Manage caseload distribution and assign new referrals to direct reports.
  • Conduct audits and facilitate meetings to address areas needing improvement.
  • Serve as a resource for case managers, Program Coordinators and Travel Coordinators regarding program applications.
  • Approve employee time-off requests and ensure operational coverage.
  • Streamline workflow processes to ensure clarity in roles and duties.
  • Monitor staff productivity and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal regulations.
  • Maintain personnel records and prepare performance reports.
  • Work with the Director of Training, education, and professional development to Develop training materials.
  • Participate in team meetings to relay important information.
  • Reports to Vice President of Advanced Care Programs.
