JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining and be adept at operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The CNC Swiss Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring that production goals are met while adhering to safety and quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Swiss Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes.
  • Proficiency in operating swiss machinery and the ability to work with smaller, tight tolerance parts
  • Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Experience with GD&T and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC swiss machines, (Tsugami) including Fanuc and other systems, to produce precision parts according to specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints, applying GD&T principles as necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using standard inspection equipment to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering & quality teams to optimize machining processes and improve product quality through lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Utilize SolidWorks/GibbsCAM for programming and design modifications as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
