Description

Demonstrates deep understanding of the organisation's workstation products and services, as well as industry applications, to effectively position offerings and articulate their value to potential clients. Acts as a trusted advisor both internally and externally on workstation configurations, demonstrates the ability to ask probing questions, understand client needs, and present optimised solutions for Advanced Compute Solutions. Understanding the client's focus areas and knowing how to achieve desired outcomes alongside compatibility with relevant software utilised in their environment. Engages with key stakeholders within client organisations, including executives and decision-makers, to build relationships and ensure satisfaction with the organisation's workstation offerings. Engages with clients to design customised workstation solutions for their unique business needs in collaboration with the client's technical experts and engineers. This includes travelling to customer locations and understanding their working environment. Utilises technical expertise to identify new opportunities and enhance existing ones, thereby boosting the sales pipeline and driving pursuit of workstation deals. Conducts in-depth market research to identify trends and emerging opportunities in workstation markets, and provides insights to internal teams, contributing to the development of sales strategies for the district. Concentrates on growing new workstation business and supports all existing business for accounts in the district. Plays a vital role in product roadmap transitions, ensuring all customers are fully informed and guided toward the best workstation configurations that meet their business goals. Acts as subject matter expert for creating configurations using relevant tools such as One Config to ensure pricing and builds remain accurate and relevant. Gathers and relays feedback from clients to internal teams to help refine existing workstation offerings and guide the development of new products or features. Stays informed about industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements that may impact workstation sales activities, ensuring all engagements remain compliant. Acts as point of contact for resolving client workstation issues and concerns, working closely with customer support or service teams to ensure prompt and effective resolution. Impacts function performance and leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives focused on workstation growth. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, particularly relating to workstation solution design and market development. Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or any other related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. Typically has 5-8 years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or related field with exposure to workstation or enterprise computing markets.
