Perioperative Services Our Perioperative Services are situated in a state of the art and expanding facility with 19 operating theatres, including a Hybrid theatre, three endoscopy suites, and two Cardiac Cath Labs. As part of our growth, we are adding four additional cutting-edge operating theatres and an additional Cath lab with construction underway and due for completion mid 2026. Equipped with advanced technology, our department supports over 1800 operations each month. The Role Within our Clinical Command Centre we offer a supportive role with our friendly bookings team who work to achieve high standards of administrative work and data entry, with a large focus on the Booking of Elective Surgery patient ‘s into our Patient Administration System to ensure our patients are scheduled for their procedures. How you will make an impact Play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless booking of patients for procedures Focus on delivering high standards of customer service for our patients, family members, nursing staff and medical officers in a fast-paced environment. Perform Reception administrative duties, and data entry into our Patient Administrative System (PAS) Liaise with doctor’s rooms and nursing staff to ensure correct patient and procedure details are obtained Answer telephones and ensures accurate recording and delivery of messages Respond quickly to emergency situations, ensuring correct personnel are contacted. You will have Proven clerical experience, hospital setting desired. (preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Teams Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and can problem solve. A positive attitude and be adaptable to change within an evolving service Excellent communication and time management skills and work respectfully within a team environment.
