This position is responsible for developing master document and/or account-specific financial agreements, including phases of research drafting, coordination of internal approvals, filing of language with the local department of insurance, programming and implementation; and providing consultative services to multiple corporate areas.

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 years experience in health insurance contract and claim administration agreement and financial agreement development.
  • Knowledge of health products and procedures, underwriting requirements, contract and funding arrangements.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to collaborate with peers and other contract specialists.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership skills and ability to work independently.
  • PC proficiency to include Word and desktop publishing application.

PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with changing assignments and priorities.
  • Experience interacting with personnel of multiple departments and at various levels in the organization.
  • Ability to consume and apply training materials, processes, procedures at an accelerated pace.
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and driving continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry best practices and trends.
  • Deep understanding of medical and pharmacy benefits.
  • Strong oral, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to accept direction and feedback.
    This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.
