We are seeking a qualified and experienced Advanced Foot Care Nurse to join our Community Care Team. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality foot care services within our clinic, located in-office at our dedicated foot care room, equipped with an adjustable foot care chair and support from a clinic coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Completion of an Advanced Foot Care Certification through an approved nursing program.
· Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) which must be submitted to Community Care for Central Hastings (CCCH) to keep on file
· Maintain current licensing and professional liability insurance; copies must be submitted to CCCH annually.

· Conduct and document initial foot care assessments and develop individualized care plans.
· Maintain up-to-date client charts and records using the Nesda system in accordance with CCCH protocols.
· Monitor client progress and make timely referrals to appropriate specialists (e.g., Chiropodist, Diabetic Clinic) as needed, ensuring documentation is shared with CCCH for record-keeping.
· Provide and maintain personal instruments and ensure all equipment is sterilized and maintained per College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) standards.
· Replace instruments as required to maintain quality and safety standards.
· Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols set by CCCH and regulatory bodies.
· Understand that all client records and documentation remain the property of CCCH.
· Use clinic-provided supplies as available.
