DESCRIPTION The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge manufacturing processes for Apple's next-generation Audio products. This role requires an experienced leader who can drive manufacturing automation innovation from concept to mass production, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. You will be instrumental in bridging design and manufacturing, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in advanced manufacturing. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Robotics/Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree or greater in a relevant engineering discipline. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Experience in adhesive dispensing, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), fastening, metal and plastic welding, high-speed pick and placing, automated flex handling, packaging, and other automated assembly processes. Experience working with international manufacturing partners and supply chains. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX) and simulation tools.
