Job Description Summary Activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations. Job Description Key Responsibilities Support the development, optimization, and control of manufacturing processes (e.g., lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, diffusion). Monitor and analyze process performance, yield, and defectivity trends. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations and excursions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, equipment engineering, quality) to improve process stability. Assist in process qualification, technology transfer, and new product introduction (NPI). Maintain and update process documentation, SOPs, and control plans. Use statistical tools (SPC, DOE) to drive continuous improvement. Support troubleshooting of equipment and process-related issues. Ensure compliance with safety, cleanroom protocols, and quality standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Chemical Engineering Materials Science Electrical Engineering Physics or related field 0–3 years of experience (internships or academic research in semiconductors preferred) Basic understanding of fabrication processes Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, JMP, Minitab, or similar) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Qualifications Exposure to cleanroom environment or wafer fab operations Knowledge of SPC, DOE, and Six Sigma methodologies Experience with process simulation or characterization tools Basic programming skills (Python, MATLAB) for data analysis Key Competencies Attention to detail and quality mindset Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Adaptability and willingness to learn Additional Information The job is open to men and women equally Relocation Assistance Provided: No At GE HealthCare, we see possibilities through innovation.
